Audi A6 Allroad Quattro Review
Can't decide whether you need a sports utility vehicle or an estate car, well look no further, as Audi introduce the new Audi A6 Allroad Quattro. A cross between the Audi A6 Avant and the Audi Q7, the new Audi Allroad Quattro is an estate car with outstanding off road capabilities.
The A6 Allroad Quattro first made an appearance in 2000 and the 2006 Allroad Quattro has not lost any of it's appeal, designed to take on the muddiest of fields just as well as its drives on the tarmac, the Allroad Quattro benefits from Audi's tried and tested Quattro four wheel drive system combined with a clever five height air suspension system that allows you to tackle the most difficult of terrains.
Build quality on the new Allroad Quattro will no doubt be a factor in maintaining Audi's class leading residual values, and with the addition of monoPur upholstery (an extremely hard wearing man made fibre combined with cloth) the interior should be able to take a few of those off road knocks without looking too shabby, so you won't be pouring money down the drain as soon as you drive out of the dealership.
Audi's Multi Media Interface is also fitted as standard on the Allroad Quattro, this cleverly designed unit that retracts into the dash when not in use also controls not only the suspension but also the audio and navigation systems via a seven inch monitor.
Like the looks of the new Audi Allroad Quattro, why not check out the Volvo XC70 or the BMW X3.
