New Chrysler Voyager Review
The Chrysler Voyager was the first MPV to be launched way back in the days of Spandau Ballet and Duran Duran, but unlike many of its frilly shirted rivals the Chrysler Voyager is still with us and still going strong today. Designed simply to carry seven adults in comfort and style, the Chrysler Voyager shouts, "Big is beautiful".
Three engines are available in the Chrysler Voyager either a 2.4 petrol unit that develops 145 bhp and achieves 114 mph through a five speed manual gearbox, or a choice of two diesels that have capacities of 2.5 and 2.8 litres respectively. The Chrysler Voyager 2.5 CRD has a power output of 141 bhp delivered through a five speed box giving a top speed of 115 mph. Top of the engine range is the Chrysler Voyager 2.8 CRD, this diesel power plant pushes out 150 bhp by way of its four speed automatic gearbox and reaches a top speed of 112 mph.
All Chrysler Voyager's have a high level of specification with an anti-lock braking system, dual-stage front airbags, side airbags, curtain airbags, remote central locking with deadlocks, dual-zone climate control, a six-speaker CD stereo, electric mirrors, electric power windows and four captains seats (front and middle row) all fitted as standard.
Rear sliding doors make entry on the Chrysler Voyager extremely easy whether it's for your passengers and with the flexible seating you can quickly convert the load space to carry almost anything. As an option you can make it even easier by having electric sliding doors.
Like the looks of the Chrysler Voyager, why not check out, the Mazda 5, the Citroen C8, the Vauxhall Zafira, the Peugeot 807, the VW Sharan, the Renault Scenic or the Ford Galaxy.
