New Volkswagen Passat Estate Review
The new Passat Estate is a little bit bigger than the model it replaces, but although its overall dimensions have increased it is only slightly heavier. Added to this are vast improvements in the suspension to give a much sharper and more comfortable drive. With the Passat scoring a maximum five out of five stars in its Euro ncap safety rating it's not just a comfortable car it's safe too.
For the business driver or the family that needs a lot more storage space the Passat Estate is the answer, with all the refinements of the saloon but with a luggage compartment volume of 603 litres (when loaded to the luggage compartment cover), 1731 litres when used fully (including spare wheel well) and the ability to haul up to 638 kilograms the Passat Estate comes in to its own when you need that little bit more space.
Backed by the fantastic residual values that all VW's seem to command the Passat Estate is not only the perfect choice for the company driver, but also it makes a fantastic family car.
