Finance new Proton on a Personal Contract Purchase PCP

New Proton Car Finance from Broker4cars your Online Proton PCP Broker

Proton PCP

Initially established in 1983, Proton began building cars that were based on Mitsubishi parts and technologies, as time progressed however, Proton introduced locally made parts and homegrown technology began to be used. Proton’s major development though, must be the strategic partnership that was reached with the Volkswagen Group in 2004, VW agreeing to share its technology in return for use of Proton's spare capacity at its manufacturing plant in Tanjung Malim, although to this date the deal has not been fully ratified as VW would like a holding 51%. Proton cars have moved on from their early years and the new generation of Proton's may not be quite as stylish as some of their competitors, they have however gained a good reputation for their reliability.

Finance your new Proton using a PCP (Personal Contract Purchase). Payment is made on a monthly basis directly from your bank account for an agreed period of time – normally between two and four years. Your initial deposit can be anything from 0 to 40%, and your regular payments will be much lower than hire purchase. You can also pay extra to include all your servicing costs and a one off payment can be made for Gap insurance. At the end of the agreed period you either hand your Proton back, or, if you decide to keep it, you can pay the "balloon payment", this is the Guaranteed future value (GFV) that is specified when you make the original agreement.
